Cara Westhouse

Cara is the Director of Activate Operations at Ovative. As the head of this new team, she drives leaders and team members to do great work for our clients through developing and implementing internal tools and processes to improve productivity and efficiency and manage more effective alignment of work and resources. She joined Ovative in 2016 and spent several years on the Digital Experience Optimization team before moving over to form the Activate Operations team in 2021 to capitalize on her love of organization, process optimization, and her constant drive to improve the work we do.

Prior to joining Ovative, Cara spent 9 years at Target in various merchandising and digital marketing roles. She was involved in building and growing Target’s Digital Media and Monetization efforts through work on the Roundel team in Account Planning and Digital Product Development, where she discovered her love of digital marketing as well as process development for scalable growth.

Cara lives in Plymouth, Minnesota with her husband, young son, and 3 dogs. She loves health and fitness and is an avid runner. No matter how busy things get, she always makes time for staying active. She also enjoys reading, biking, breweries – and biking to breweries!
