Ovative Group Named Finalist for the 2024 Digiday Media Buying & Planning Awards

MINNEAPOLIS, MINN. March 19, 2024 –– National firm Ovative Group has been named a ‘Media Plan of the Year’ finalist for the 2024 Digiday Media Buying and Planning Awards. 

The Digiday Awards recognize the companies that have been most successful in the modern media landscape. Ovative’s innovative partnership with a retail client earned the firm its finalist recognition for Media Plan of the Year, which recognizes companies whose media plans most effectively and efficiently achieve their campaign goals. 

Ovative partnered with a women’s clothing brand during Holiday 2023 to acquire high-value Gen Z and Millennial or GenZennial customers and build brand equity aligned with confidence, comfort, and inclusivity. To break through the holiday advertising clutter, Ovative experts helped the client engage with GenZennial audiences in their natural environments and most-loved apps. To achieve this, Ovative orchestrated a two-pronged approach for the campaign. 

The first prong created “coziest spaces in the busiest places” to provide consumers with real comfort where their holiday stress peaked. To achieve this, Ovative helped the client capture consumer attention by owning exclusive media space with premium, custom content on GenZennial’s most-loved apps such as Spotify and TikTok. 

The second prong reduced holiday shopping stress and made the brand synonymous with holiday gifting. To achieve this, Ovative targeted gift-givers with high-impact media showcasing the client’s must-have gifts. Ovative experts also facilitated the brand becoming the first mono-brand fashion retailer to execute a Meta Moment Maker strategy to maximize product exposure. 

According to TikTok, the brand saw an 8% lift in ad recall and 4% lift in brand association with holiday gifting. Additionally, campaign performance goals were exceeded for key metrics, including impressions and clicks.
