Director, Video and Programmatic Media

Eva Thompson

Eva is the Director of the Video and Programmatic Media (VPM) team, our newest activate channel at Ovative. She is responsible for leading strategic and tactical planning efforts for Video and Audio clients across Linear TV and Radio as well as Streaming Audio and “Living Room” or lean-in digital video. Since the inception of the iVA team in September of 2020, Eva has worked to hire a full-service investment team, provide clients with full year annual media plans and subscribe to a portfolio of integrated planning tools to help position Ovative as best-in-class across the Video/Audio landscape.

Before joining Ovative, Eva spent 9 years at Haworth Marketing + Media in multiple investment and planning roles. Her expertise spans local and national media including TV, Radio, OTT, Streaming audio and cinema. She worked to grow the existing Haworth Video Strategy team from 5 to 15 employees and worked on world class brands such as Walmart, Target, Alzheimer’s Association, Dick’s Sporting Goods, St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, Masco, and more.

Eva lives in Woodbury, MN with her 8-year son and mini-golden doodle, Ginger. Eva has a large extended family, including 9 nieces and nephews and enjoys all the family time she can get. She is an avid yogi and runner (when it’s warm outside) and enjoys spending the summers at her family cabin in McGregor, MN.
