Emily Gislason

Emily is a Director of Media Strategy at Ovative. She leads the design and delivery of cross-channel media strategies for clients across Ovative and advances Ovative’s customer and brand measurement capabilities.

Since joining Ovative in 2020, Emily has led a variety of engagements in customer, media, and measurement strategy for clients across retail, healthcare, and CPG verticals. Her team knows her as the person that lives and breathes insights. She played a key role in developing Ovative’s research and insights function, helping clients unlock better business results through strategies informed by industry, consumer, and competitive trends. Prior to joining Ovative, Emily spent five years at Target in various roles within merchandising and supply chain, where she developed a love of understanding consumer behavior.

Emily lives in Oakland, California with her husband. In her free time, you can find her out on a trail, learning to play the mandolin, or contemplating the future of AI.
