Jay believes in the power of building trust and genuine relationships. Before joining Ovative, Jay spent eight years directly managing digital media programs and teams on the client-side at Ancestry.com, Adchemy, Pulpo Media, and Consorte Media. Now as Ovative’s VP of Client Services, he partners across teams to craft, execute, and measure holistic, customer-centric media strategies. With a relentless focus on investing in clients, he ensures we’re all in on striving to meet our clients’ goals.

With an approach grounded in trust and transparency, Jay recognizes that different perspectives often lead to the best solutions. This philosophy helps him empower our teams and clients to drive sustained financial growth and improved brand health. His secret? Truly listening to his clients, pushing for innovative ideas, and getting to know the depths of his clients’ business inside and out. He believes that true leaders develop long-lasting relationships formed in the small moments. Instilled by his dad, this belief fuels his commitment to showing up for clients every day.

Jay’s commitment to building relationships doesn’t end when the workday does. Whether he’s cheering on his favorite football teams or playing a basketball game with his kids, he shares his love for sports with the people who matter most. An early bird by nature, he kicks off his mornings with a peaceful run around the lakes in Southwest Minneapolis. And while he's a fan of trying out the best sandwich spots in town, his go-to lunch remains a classic PB&J—because sometimes, you just can’t beat the classics.
