Steve is the kind of leader that sees a challenge and thinks “bring it on.” He doesn’t just think outside the box; he redefines it. This mindset served him well during his eight years at Target; his thirteen years of building Ovative’s media practice; and now is a cornerstone of his role as Ovative’s Executive Vice President of Retail Media.

With his inspiring “what if” attitude, Steve has mastered solving the unsolvable. His imaginative thinking led to the development of Target’s innovative enterprise measurement capabilities and some of Target’s earliest retail media network capabilities Now, he’s at the helm of our retail media practice, leading a team of change-makers to drive profitable growth for clients through tech-enabled retail media activation and media network growth consulting. Steve’s relentless focus on solving retail media measurement challenges means we’re not just meeting expectations; we’re setting new industry standards.

Even outside of client work, Steve is always up for a challenge. Whether he’s playing basketball on rollerblades or competing in the finals of Ovative’s annual Shuffleboard Tournament, he’s known to challenge you to a friendly bet or competition. In his free time, you’ll find Steve enjoying the great outdoors with his family. He's outside every chance he gets, whether he’s fishing with his boys or escaping to the beautiful Minnesota North Shore.
