Mara Koons

Mara is a Director of Paid Social at Ovative. She leads media strategy, planning, and execution across Display, Video, and Paid Social channels, with a focus on profitable growth for clients. Mara is invested in her team’s development and co-leads Ovative’s Chicago office which opened in March 2023.

Mara started at Ovative in 2017 as a paid media analyst, gaining expertise across a variety of industries including CPG, State Lottery, Luxury Retail, and more. During her time at Ovative she has held roles across Display, Paid Social, SEO, and SEM teams, fueling her cross-channel media strategy and expertise. She is passionate about solving complex problems and maximizing Enterprise Marketing Return.

Mara resides in Chicago with her husband. Outside of work, Mara enjoys trying new foods, attempting to cook them, and staying active through sports like soccer and volleyball.
