Senior Manager, Strategy Consulting

In this role you will serve as a key member of the rapidly growing Strategy Consulting team, responsible for leading a team to deliver on customer, digital marketing, and measurement focused projects for clients. In addition, you will work with Ovative leadership to further define our product offering / face to the market as well as manage / mentor junior members of the team. The Manager / Sr. Manager will play an important role in the Strategy Consulting growth expectations bringing scale and expanded e-commerce, digital marketing, and customer strategy expertise.

Role Responsibilities:

• Manage consulting projects by identifying workplans, workstreams, and deliverables; Deliver on project plans in-partnership with clients / leadership
• Lead work in-service of project deliverables including analytics, primary / secondary research, problem-solving, workshops etc.
• Oversee client relationship management, assessing and guiding day-to-day and strategic communications
• Work with leadership to review services, identifying areas for improvement and altering strategies and scope
• Provide business development support, assisting with strategy development and liaising with prospective clients to refine scopes of work
• Manage junior Strategy Consulting team members, providing training, guidance, and performance evaluations

Role Requirements:

• 5-7 years (or 2-3 years + MBA) of experience working with clients (internal or external) to solve challenging problems
• Experience at a management consulting firm or on a corporate strategy team for a large Fortune 500 company
• Experience in e-commerce, digital marketing, CRM, customer strategy or other marketing discipline preferred, but not required.
• Proven structured thinking and problem-solving skills helping teams, peers, and clients to develop clear and actionable strategies / solutions
• Strong analytics skillset with past experiences managing large financial, customer, or industry datasets to inform strategy / solution outputs
• Excellent communication skills (i.e., oral, written, and PowerPoint deliverables)
• Experience managing project teams including structuring work, overseeing workstreams, liaising with clients and mentoring junior team members preferred, but not required
• Entrepreneurial mindset with an ability to manage and thrive in ambiguous environments
